Does Meetings are the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
Happy Spring! I hope everyone is getting outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Our fundraiser working at the Pizza Ranch in Stewartville has continued to be successful! The money raised helps local charities. It is also a great opportunity to get out into the community to let them know about the Does and highlights the local charities that we support. We encourage all Does to sign up to work or come eat on the dates we are serving. We can always use extra help and you can contact me directly if you can help out . If you aren’t able to work a shift, please come out and eat and encourage you friends and families to come too. Dates are: July 17, August 12 & September 18. Thank you to Elizabeth Schinigoi and Lori Ryan for helping wo coordinate a wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch! The decorations and “Do-it-Yourself” demonstrations were great. If you weren’t able to make it this year, mark your calendar for next year the Saturday before Mother’s Day. We have 6 members going to the Does National Convention in Oklahoma City from June 2-7. It is a great opportunity to learn and connect with our friends from Droves across the country. The Does Annual Family Picnic will be June 19 and is for Does members and their friends and family. Please bring a dish to pass. This is our last meeting until September 4. We will be hosting the Iowa, Minnesota & Nebraska Districts in Rochester October 17-19.
